28th Meeting - NORTHEAST AQUATIC PLANT MANAGEMENT SOCIETY

The Northeast Aquatic Plant Management Society (NEAPMS) will be holding its 28th annual meeting at the Grandview Lake Placid located in Lake Placid, NY in January 2027

Conference dates are Tuesday January 5th to Thursday January 7th, 2027.

Tuesday will feature an afternoon workshop followed by a welcome reception in the evening (dinner on your own). Wednesday will include a full day of technical presentations focused on active management of aquatic plants and algae to maximize creditable talks, followed by a poster session, and banquet. Thursday morning will include several technical presentations. We conclude with a luncheon and conference adjournment at 1pm.

Conference registration includes the Tuesday afternoon workshop and welcome reception; breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks on Wednesday and Thursday; and the dinner banquet on Wednesday evening.  There are options to only attend a portion of the conference. We hope to see you in January!


Special NEAPMS Conference Experience at the Olympic Center

NEAPMS is organizing a special experience at the Olympic Arena on Tuesday, January 5th, 2027

Join fellow NEAPMS members in a unique sporting event on the Olympic ice on Tuesday, January 5th at TBD

More event details to follow. You are responsible for your own transportation to the event.  Deadline to sign up for this tour is TBD.


Accommodations

$145.00 per night

Rooms may be booked at the Grandview Lake Placid for the conference room rate of $145.00 (sgl or dbl occupancy) per night is available at the hotel.

Should you need to cancel your reservations, please note that guest room cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to check-in. A fee of one night room and tax will be assessed if you must cancel after this deadline..


Sponsorship/Exhibitors

Sponsors contribute financially to the Society to help support programs and events.

Sponsors are acknowledged through website listings/links, conference signage and inclusion of their company name and/or logo in our final program.

Exhibit space is available to sponsors at the Silver level and above.  A 6-foot table is included with the exhibit space, and electrical hook-up can be provided with prior notice. Space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Exhibits that focus on plant management products and education are encouraged. 

Time is allocated during the conference for sponsors at the Gold level and above to provide industry updates or related informational presentations.
