NEAPMS Student Travel Scholarship

In September of 2022 the Northeast Aquatic Plant Management Society Board of Directors voted to offer up to four travel assistance awards to students wishing to participate in the Society’s annual meeting. These awards are $250 each. Funds may be used towards lodging, travel, meals, or other related costs for the meeting. Any expenses incurred beyond the awarded amount will be the responsibility of the student and/or their advisor/sponsor.
As these awards are intended to encourage participation in the event, students are encouraged to present a poster or give an oral presentation and to attend the student luncheon.
Eligibility:
1) Applicant must be in good academic standing in a graduate or undergraduate level program.
2) Applicant must have an interest in the areas of aquatic plant management, harmful algal blooms, water quality, or lake management.
3) Applicants must be registered to attend the annual meeting (https://www.neapms.org/membershipregistration)
4) Complete the form below before: November 30, 2023
If selected, students will be notified by email and will receive a check for $250 at the end of the conference.
